Band Bio

Welcome to Velveteen's brand new home on the web.  We're still figuring out how this whole information superhighway works, so keep an eye out for new content in the coming weeks.

Velveteen is Jeremy Michaels on drums, Christopher Ray on bass and Michael Ray on guitar and vocals.  We formed in 2007 as the band for Mike's solo release, Safety Nets.  It felt so good, we decided to stick together and make a go of it.  Since then we've played together at clubs, coffeshops and colleges throughout NEPA.  Our sound continues to develop as we write together and we're very excited to see where it goes from here.
